Renowned Nigerian fashion blogger and style influencer Sharon Ojong gives and amazing compilation of her best 15 fashion weeks in Africa, and amongst her A-Z list Accra Fashion Week was not left behind.

The list featured a range of events also including ones from South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Uganda, however amongst the lot, Accra Fashion Week was definitely the youngest, making tremendous history whilst having only executed 2 years.

Other known facts is amongst the list and in Africa, Accra Fashiion Week has been the only show to host over 150 designers. Also has hosted the largest number of nations compared to all and the largest number of nations compared to any event that has taken place in Ghana, with a record of 22 various nationalities.

This year, Accra Fashion Week will be pushing the bar and going twice a year, something only South African fashion weeks have executed. As well as bringing down European buyers to participate in the purchasing of our brands. Despite that, all the fashion weeks have played a major role in discovering talents and brands within their country and this year we at AFWk ltd, look forward to working with them even more.
