The brand OJZ Seychelles officially came to existence in 2019 when founder Oushnajohn Labrosse Neé (Zoé) was given a wake-up call after the passing away of her daughter. She then realized that life is too short to just let pass without realizing her dreams. The OJZ Seychelles brand is specialized in jewelry making, leather bags, Lingerie, upholstery and clothings ….The initial OJZ are symbolized to her name Oushnajohn Zoé. The idea was conceptualized back in 2009 when she was asked by her business studies tutor to come up with a ‘brand’ for a future enterprise for her very own.
The inspiration of fashion designing comes from Oushnajohn late mother and aunty. In her younger years she would re-create jewelries together with her mum and aunty, whom will help her with drawing, whilst her mother would sew beautiful dresses for and nice shirts for dad. Oushnajohn was eventually taught how to use a sewing machine by her aunty back in India. At the age of 19, jewelry making became a survival tactic for Oushnajohn as a means to an end in making extra money for collage. Oushnajohn eventually started her own business, of which eventually led to the development of the OJZ brand.
