In April, the media will see a list of registered designers for Accra Fashion Week to be featured local and international media both fashion and general news. The inaugural event made its mark in 2016 as Ghana’s prominent fashion festival returns in 2017, and despite it’s success we promise to prove a much better event.
Early registrars are offered to almost as much as $50 on some packages, as well as set to published on much of the supporting international media that covered the event. Accra Fashion Week 2016 saw Ghanaian fashion reach international media such as Yahoo News, DailyMail, Womens Wear Daily and much more.
The prime objective of our 2017 event is to break the mold of fashion stocked in Ghana and Accra as a whole, and create leading international brands home grown from Africa. As well as change the public narrative’s desire of foreign brands.
This year we have secured over 30 interested buyers, with a list of over 500 boutiques at their attention. With experiences and attributes gained from 2016, 2017 is set to par with some of the main fashion capitals. To find out more, register at https://www.accrafashionweek.org/designer-registration/.
