UK based fashion label Mark Johnson designs, formerly House Of Esther, was inspired by mother of founder Mark Johnson. His mother was once a seamstress and a former student at The London college of fashion. Through her work, he took created the label and dedicated to providing exquisite red carpet gowns fit for all movie premieres, banquets, weddings and church events.
Mark Johnson designs are often long, drapey, floor trailing, fitted and elegant. The label has been responsible for clothing various award ceremonies as well as sponsoring UK's most popular pageant event.
Mark Johnson now inspired by world trends carefully blends African prints with plain western fabrics to create a stunning looks. The label is influenced by the glitz and glamour of American 1980s soap operas Dynasty and Dallas, and works to modernize styles from them for the elegant women of 2010 and beyond.
In 2012 Mark Johnson worked for Ralph Lauren and the USA Olympic team at the London games. The label has been involved in numerous fashion events and featured along side international brands on the same catwalk as Pacco Rabanne and Christian Dior. The designer said the next steps for his label are always unpredictable but always beyond expectations.
