Gloria Garment (Ghana) | Biography
A Ghanaian based fashion Designer, Gloria Sabea Osafo was born on April 3 in cape coast and had a basic education at the University primary school,then want to the university practice secondary school going to form 2, my parents moved me to Ghana National College. After completing form 5, I desired to do fashion designing and had the passion to be a model so I was with my mum whenever she was sewing.
I took needle work periods very serious when I was in primary. Actually I was an arts students in the secondary school but I decided to add clothing and textiles to it. After completing my GCE O level I moved to Accra to persue my fashion career in a school called Supreme Fashion in November 1995, I completed it in February 1998 and after some month I had my own shop located at New Achimota by the name Gloria Garment.
I have been able to obtain so many certificates like National Coordinating Committee for Technical and Vocational Education and Training(NACVET), Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association(GNTDA), Clothing Technology and Training Centre (CTTC), National Vocational Training Institution(NVTI)and CORVET. I am also the vice chairperson for the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association(GNTDA)-Achimota Zone.
