She is here because she believed. Niger designer Alia Bare, founder of Face to Faith is a Senegalese based designer originally who risked it all for her love of fashion. The designer who was a former bank employee in France, then later in Singapore went against all odds and family wishes when she chose to study fashion designing.
After studies Alia then funded her travel to Senegal to seek inspiration and creativity that was inspired by local traditions. Going through tough decisions alone with no clue of her future inspired the title of her label 'Face to Faith' to constantly remind herself about her self funded struggle and path to fashion based on faith.
In slightly over a year, Alia Bare became one of the top brands in Senegal and her ambitions is to take her label across Africa and then the world.
Face To Faith fashion reflects the current cosmopolitan African woman who travels the world and wears clothes with a hints a of diversity as she uses her Asian and African influences to create new waves of fashion styles.
