AFRICAN FASHION SUMMIT

This summit focuses on the need for Africa to build a nature of independence in its growing fashion industry to create a platform where Africans are in total control of our top tiers on the fashion industry.
Discussions begin at 14.15pm. Join us in a public forum discussion regarding the future of African fashion. This Summit is a yearly initiative aimed at creating an economic purpose for the concept of African fashion. In addition to discussing with industry experts, we will launch AFIM Club (African Fashion Independence Movement) with only 10ghs registration.

Pressurized Canvases is a champagne and art show hosted by Bola Ray & Haillie Sumney, composed of various entertainments and art forms dancing, painting, body painting, performances, and more. It will also host FASHION SHOWS by Senyo Foli, Jésù Ségun London, & Style By Magbrien.
Synopsis:
In the world of “Pressurized Canvases,” artists are like alchemists, turning setbacks into strokes of resilience. The canvas bears witness to their pain, each brushstroke a testament to the struggles faced. Yet, within the chaos of creation, these artists find strength, transforming pressure into a crucible of inspiration. Their journey, a masterpiece in itself, reveals the untold stories behind the vibrant colors and intricate details, a testament to the triumph of creativity over adversity.
In the dimly lit runway of life, models emerge, not just in fabric, but in resilience. Stitched with dreams, woven with passion, they walk the catwalk of setbacks, draped in the fabric of obstacles. Fashion designers sketch their aspirations with threads of hope, sewing visions of success amidst the chaos of doubt.
Singers lend their voices to the silent struggles, harmonizing with the pain of rejection and the melody of perseverance. Spoken word artists craft verses from the tapestry of their own suffering, turning the stage into a canvas where every word is a stroke, painting stories of survival.
Body paint artists transform the canvas of the human form, using colors to mask scars and reveal the beauty beneath. Dancers choreograph their movements to the rhythm of resilience, pirouetting through the challenges that threaten to break their spirit.
In this symphony of creativity, each artist is a note, each setback a pause, and every obstacle a crescendo building towards triumph. They face the mirror of self-doubt, where the reflection of their strength outshines the shadows of adversity.
Fashion designers, draped in the garments of determination, create masterpieces from the fabric of their own perseverance. They embrace the scars as embellishments, turning pain into runway elegance. The pressure molds them like clay, but they emerge as sculptures of triumph, standing tall amidst the artistry of their own survival.
